The chart above was created by an innovative church planter and lead pastor of Kaleo Church, Drew Goodmanson. It illustrates well the common approach toward understanding how community groups expand and grow. The sort of growth is called “birthing,” because new groups are formed as existing groups grow both numerically and in leadership. And to offer you some existing approaches used by others to think about in order to encourage you to raise up leaders and possibly birth groups out of your own.
